A free macOS tool that optimizes images and SVGs

If you are on macOS and you need to optimize images in order to reduce their size, you must know ImageOptim and its derivatives which I often talk to you about .

But a new free tool has just appeared on Github that you should like. This is Image Optimizer, which uses the mozjpeg, pngquant, gifsicle and SVGO libs to help you reduce the weight of images in various formats: GIF, PNG, JPEG and…. SVG!

You drag and drop an image or a directory containing images, and presto, all the files will see their weight reduced.

Ah if only we could lose weight ourselves so easily…
