BingGPT – The Desktop Client for Chatting with Bing AI

You know what? Thanks to Lorenper (thank you), I discovered a new software that is going to change the way you use AI, especially GPT.

It’s called BingGPT, an AI-powered chat application developed by OpenAI and Microsoft.

And guess what? You don’t even need to install Edge or a browser plugin to use it! Just download the client for Windows, macOS, or Linux and log into your Microsoft account. You can then chat with the AI about all your romantic problems or ask it to write lists, blog posts, and more by going to the “Write” tab.

The BingGPT client offers some interesting features such as the ability to customize the appearance of the chat window by changing the theme and font size, and even export the complete conversation in Markdown, PNG, or PDF format. This is super practical!

I tried it out and it works really well, especially since it can search the internet for more complete answers. However, it is more puritanical and moderates questions and answers much faster compared to a disconnected ChatGPT. You should see if that suits your needs.

BingGPT is licensed under the Apache-2.0 License and can be downloaded from its GitHub page.
