What is monitor refresh rate and why is it important?

Refresh rate is the number of frames your screen is capable of displaying in one second. The latter is measured in Hertz (Hz). For example, if your monitor has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, then it will be able to refresh the image 144 times per second.

The refresh rate of a “standard” PC screen is 60 Hz. However, there are monitors with higher refresh rates, such as 120Hz, 144 Hz, 240 Hz, or even 360 Hz.

Of course, the higher the refresh rate, the better the display quality, sharpness and fluidity. This is valid in video games as well as in the general use of your computer.

I don’t know about you, but personally since I have a 144Hz screen , I couldn’t go back. The visual experience is so much more enjoyable. ????
