As you will see, the new version has little to do with the version you all know. The new Media Player will have a completely new interface, a new font and new icons. A modern interface that will blend in perfectly with the design of Windows 11.

In addition, this new frame will obviously come with its share of new features such as customization of the playback queue or collection management. It will list all the photos, videos and MP3s contained in the PC, and will automatically import items from Groove Music.

Like its predecessor, the new Windows 11 media player will display the album cover, while the artists’ photos will be projected in full screen.

How to install the new Media Player in Windows 11

Then click on the drop-down menu just to the right, select “Fast”, and validate by clicking on the “Check” button.

  • 2- Now, right-click on the link Microsoft.ZuneMusic_11.2111.54.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle, and select “Save Link As…”. The file weighs 35.74 MB.
  • 3- Once downloaded, double-click on the Msixbundle file to update the new media player.
  • 4- Finally, from the “Update Media Player” window, click on the “Update” button to install the new Media Player.

✅ That’s it, the new media player is now installed on your Windows 11 computer!
