Stream your VR games to your Oculus without cables

If you are the proud owner of a VR headset such as Oculus Quest, Quest 2 or Oculus Go, you will be happy since with ALVR (Air Light VR), you will be able to stream VR games from your PC to your headset VR directly via Wi-Fi.

For this to work you will need to install SteamVR and then download the ALVR installer . Launch it, install it by giving it admin permissions then as soon as it is finished, launch it.

On the Oculus headset side, you will need to install SideQuest on your PC and activate developer mode on your headset by following this tutorial .

Then all you have to do is connect your headset to Sidequest. If you have an Oculus Quest 1 or 2, download the ALVR app here , if you have an Oculus Go, download it here .

When everything is in place, launch ALVR on your headset and then click “trust” on the PC application to establish the connection and trust your headset. Next time this step will be automatic.

And now, you will be able to play in wifi. No more mouth breakage in the cables.

I leave you with this video from VR Gamerz which will explain everything to you:
